Ozone Associated with Winter Mortality in Shanghai
This time series analysis examined the relation between ozone and daily mortality in Shanghai using four years of data. Investigators reported that ozone was associated with total mortality and cardiovascular mortality in the cold season, but not the warm season. This is the reverse of the seasonality patterns observed in studies in Western countries.
